'Hounddog' was shown at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival over the past weekend and there is a very good article about it in the media section today. Be sure to head over and read that! Here's a little snippit:
Clearly, Hounddog is the strongest American film in the festival, full of wise and courageous turns, including bracingly good acting work from Fanning, vulnerability space queen Robin Wright Penn, and also David Morse (in a twisted role, akin to his Dancer in the Dark role).”
Lastly, the graphics section, Break My Feelings is up now! I have much more graphics to add, so keep checking back for that. If you don't see your donated graphics there yet, don't worry, it will be added.

In a recent interview with Robin Wright Penn about her movie 'Breaking and Entering', she speaks up about 'Hounddog'. Here's what she had to say: (Read all of what she said about 'Hounddog' in the media/article section) Thanks to Kajol for finding this! : )
1. Do you think Dakota Fanning should have done a rape scene in "Houndog"?
I think it's a very truthful movie. It's not exploitive in any shape or form. Dakota does an amazing job, and every scene in that movie is tastefully performed and edited. As for the controversy, how dare people speak ill of a young child venturing into serious acting. She's incredibly talented. These people who now demean her and her family because of this scene do this out of fear of a story that's actually, sadly truthful.
While at Sundance, director Deborah Kampmeier won the 'VW Relentless Drive Award' for her hard work on getting 'Hounddog' made. Be sure to read what she had to say about this in the media/article section. It's definately worth reading. Thanks to Dakota&ElleFan for finding this! : )

There is one new article in the media section for you to read today. It talks about the director preparing the kids in the movie for their parts. : )

Finally open! I am having a few problems with the gallery theme, so it's not completely finished yet. But you can go to view the pics, it's just that the theme isn't right yet. There will also be a 'Hounddog' personal graphics mini-site opening soon. It's called 'Break My Feelings'! It just needs to be coded! So look for pictures and graphics in the next couple of days. I just couldn't wait to open the site any longer. : P There is much more to come.
The layout and gallery layout were made and coded by Indie! Thanks Indie!
For now, go read some of the articles and reviews in the media section. These were found by Dakota&ElleFan : ). And there are 4 clips from Sundance in the video section for you to see! The first 3 were made by Seb! and the last one was made by superdave. Thanks to all 3 of you!
